Dad seems to have a desire to "Enlighten" every being in the series, especially his "children," by having sex with them. This desire is so strong that he would do anything including time travel. He also appears to be homophobic and transphobic as he looks down upon Heather's decision to transition, calling her a "gay trans emo," and seems to misgender her but is also the one to give her new name. He also kill those who get in the way of the enlightenment.

He has a vast range of powers. He has enhanced durability which could be seen from him surviving a cliff fall, but not [[Hank J. Wimbleton|Hank]]. He also has a power to deflect things, time travel, attack with blue energy, and cook objects when he has fire hair. When he is Big Daddy he could drill things with his drill. He can also eat shot guns.
